About this policy
This policy explains how Licence to Spark (ABN 84 668 021 798), referred to here as "we", "us" and "our", handles the personal information of people who contact us or use this website. We provide electrical services to homes and businesses across the Central Coast, New South Wales, and we are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
We collect personal information directly from you when you get in touch. If you call or email us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, the address of the job site and the details of your enquiry, so that we can respond and carry out the work.
This website has no contact form, no user accounts and no online payments, so you cannot submit personal details through the site itself. The only way we receive your information is when you choose to phone or email us.
We also collect limited, anonymous usage data through Google Analytics, which we run in a cookieless configuration. It does not store cookies on your device and does not create a persistent identifier for you. It gathers aggregated technical information such as which pages are viewed, your approximate region, the type of device and browser you use, and the site that referred you. This data cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites. Because our analytics run in cookieless mode, no cookie consent banner is required to use this site.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes, schedule and carry out electrical work, keep accurate business records, and meet our legal and safety obligations. We use the anonymous analytics data only to understand how the website is used and to improve it. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.
Disclosure of your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share information with trusted providers who help us operate, such as Google, which processes the aggregated, non-identifying analytics data described above. We may also disclose information where we are required or authorised to do so by law. Aggregated analytics data may be processed by Google on servers located outside Australia.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above or as required by law. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information at every stage.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or out of date. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
